★Cold Weather is Coming, Please Keep Warm to Prevent Cardiovascular Diseases

Recent temperature drop and cold weather may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, especially for colleagues with related medical history.

For the health and safety of everyone, we would like to remind all colleagues to pay attention to their health status and follow these important points:

● Environmental Safety: When using electric heating devices, ensure electrical safety. For gas stoves and water heaters, maintain proper ventilation to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.

● Key Steps for Getting Up: Before getting out of bed, prepare warm clothing in an easily accessible location. After waking up, gently move your limbs to warm up your body, then slowly sit up and put on your warm clothes. Avoid abrupt movements to prevent discomfort or injury.

● Safe Hot Springs: Avoid soaking in hot springs immediately after meals or drinking alcohol. It is recommended to wait at least 2 hours, ensure the water temperature does not exceed 40°C, and always monitor your condition while accompanying others.

● Monitor Your Health and Follow Medication: Regularly check and record your blood sugar, blood pressure, and other relevant health data, and take medications according to your doctor's instructions.

● Seek Immediate Medical Attention if Symptoms Occur: If experiencing symptoms such as chest tightness, chest pain, palpitations, difficulty breathing, nausea, cold sweats, dizziness, or fainting, immediately call "119" for medical help to ensure timely treatment.

Let’s take care of one another and wish everyone stays healthy and warm during this cold season.

Wishing you health and safety,

[Environmental Safety Technology Center]
